Below you will find a visualization of both logistical and financial processes in a greenhouse. Our software solution for young plants covers all these processes.

 

 

Master data:

Master data like genus, stock-articles,  contacts, customers and suppliers are registered in the software. Besides this, you can enter all kinds of production information like growth schemes, activities, norm hours and and a detailed break-down structure of your greenhouses.

Order entry:

Order entry is the base of all processes. Customer details –that can be added to the order by using the push & pull principle- are essential for the order. Selection of genus, growth scheme and production template is possible. After submitting detailed information the order will be in forecast and visible in the system. Only after production approval the order will be taken into production. After approval, the system will update the data.

Production:

The system will produce the batch data and generate the production lists like seed lists, potting lists and lot stickers after approval of the order. The data output during production are work-orders with actions and activities. Waste can be registered.

Purchase:

Planned orders, actual stock and submitted purchase parameters are the base for a purchase proposal. Requirements -for (order-specific) seed, but also for materials like flats, pots, soil and so on- are calculated by these proposals. The result is a purchase order which can be printed out or send immediately in an e-mail format to the supplier.

A control screen is used for the delivery. After approval your stock is updated and delivery is ready for invoicing. Stock will decrease due to the processing of the work order.   

Capacity / Location planning:

A graphical overview of the greenhouse is available for the capacity / location planning, both for the long and the short term. The planner can also produce insight in the medium term (one week) in order to make timely adjustments whenever necessary. Dynamics Capacity Planning is the latest application Indigo developed. This application -which takes into account various restrictions like growth, genus, maintenance- brings you insight in locations and sections for the capacity planning.

Resource planning:

Resource planning is fully integrated in the system. The system information -like actions and activities that have to be carried out on approved and planned orders- helps you to determine the required resources in a specific period/run. A clear analysis of the required and available resources is the base for the actual resource planning.

Delivery:

In order to create stock, a batch must be notified as ‘completed’. After this notification, the plants are transferred to stock and ready for delivery. The application Transport Planning is available for deliveries and scheduling routes. You can add flexible routes based on cart classifications. It is also possible to divide one order over multiple routes and still maintain overview.

Invoicing:

After delivery the invoicing takes place. This invoicing and processing to Financial Administration is fully integrated in the system. Our software also supports the handling through the auction.

Financial:

Our software supports the complete financial process, from budget to processing bank statements. The system provides your company’s performance information and allows you to make timely adjustments whenever necessary.
